A man was shot and killed by an unknown assailant early Saturday morning on the 3900 block of Humboldt Avenue North, according to Minneapolis police.
The identity of the man is unknown, but he was in his 30s, according to CBS Minnesota. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the attack.
Police initially responded to shots fired, and received multiple 911 calls in addition, according to KARE 11.
The perpetrator fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Police do not believe the shooting was random, according to the CBS report. An investigation is underway.
