Rescuers found a living puppy buried in the rubble of a collapsed apartment building in the Bahamas nearly a month after Hurricane Dorian gouged the island nation.
Aptly named Big Dog Ranch Rescue team members found the dog using a drone with infrared technology, according to CNN.
The 1-year-old puppy, dubbed "miracle," had been surviving on rainwater and was "skeleton thin and unable to walk," said Big Dog Ranch spokesperson Chase Scott. The dog had been trapped under an air condition unit, broken glass, and other debris.
Miracle is expected to make a full recovery and will be available for adoption upon returning to full health, according to Fox.
This is the 139th dog rescued by the Big Dog Ranch team so far.
