A dump truck collision with multiple cars left two dead and multiple injured Thursday on Highway 55 in Rosemount.

Forty-seven year old William Craig and his wife, 48-year-old Colette Craig, were killed in the accident. Both were from South St. Paul, according to MPR.

The accident occurred as a number of cars had lined up, waiting for a semi-truck to turn. A dump truck failed to stop properly, hitting a tow truck which then caused the Craig's subaru to smash into the semi, according to WCCO.

Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the accident.
