A Minneapolis woman is dead due to injuries suffered from a house fire, according to police.
Firefighters responding to a blaze on the 5200 block of 36th avenue south found the woman unconscious after a primary inspection of the house, according to CBS.
The woman passed away from her injuries Friday, two days after the fire. This is the first fire related death of the year in Minneapolis, according to ABC.
The woman's identity has not been revealed. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
