The Winnipeg Jets tied the game late and won 2-1 in overtime over the Calgary Flames Saturday in the 2019 NHL Heritage Classic at Mosaic Stadium in Saskatchewan.

Josh Morrissey scored a goal to even the game at one apiece with just over four minutes remaining in the game. Center Brian Little won the game in overtime on a 2-on-1 chance. The goal was Little's first of the season.

The Jets had lost five of their past six games going into the contest, according to NBC Sports.

The event was the first of three outdoor games planned for this season. The Dallas Stars will host Nashville at the Cotton Bowl on New Year's day, and Los Angeles and Colorado will face off at the Air Force Academy in February.
